A private world,
held in photographs.
PRIVATE DARK is an ongoing photographic fiction about recurring characters, private rooms and the moments that survive between them.

ILLUSTRATIVE EDITORIAL STUDY / PRIVATE INTERIORThe premise / 01
The image is only
the beginning.
A portrait can suggest a life beyond its edges. PRIVATE DARK begins there: with a face, a room, a particular hour, then follows the character deeper.
Sessions are conceived as complete sequences rather than isolated images. Gestures repeat, light shifts, distance changes. What emerges is less a gallery of pictures than an encounter held over time.
The public site offers fragments. The full continuity remains inside the archive, where each session can be experienced in order and each character can be followed across appearances.
Declaration of the work
“PRIVATE DARK is an authored photographic fiction. Every character is fictional and adult. Each session is generated, directed, curated and finished under a singular photographic vision.”
The making / 02
One vision,
four acts.
Generation is part of the medium. Authorship is found in the decisions that shape what remains: character, lens, light, sequence and finish.
- 01
Conceived
A character, setting and emotional register establish the session before a frame is made.
- 02
Directed
Light, wardrobe, posture and photographic language are guided toward a coherent scene.
- 03
Curated
Images are judged individually and as a sequence. Repetition and broken continuity are removed.
- 04
Finished
Color, rhythm and presentation are refined until the session belongs to the same private world.

Continuity / 03
Characters return.
The archive remembers.
The characters are not interchangeable subjects. Their sessions gather into an authored chronology: new settings, changes of mood, familiar details seen differently.
A Witness does more than unlock additional frames. They gain the whole sequence and the continuity between sessions—the part of the story that a single public image cannot hold.

There are no public profiles, member directories or open comments here. Every Witness enters alone, under a pseudonym, and encounters the archive on their own terms.
