01 · Privacy proposal
A private account should require little.
PRIVATE DARK is designed around pseudonymous membership. The proposed approach is to collect only what is needed to provide access, operate membership and answer private support requests.
Information the service may need
- An email address, pseudonym and protected account credentials.
- Membership state, credential number where applicable, and access records needed to operate and secure the archive.
- Payment status and transaction references supplied by the checkout system. The final policy must accurately describe which party receives payment details.
- Support correspondence and essential technical records used for security, reliability and abuse prevention, if those functions are introduced.
How it is proposed to be used
These details would be used to create and secure an account, determine access, operate membership, maintain the service and reply to direct requests. No public member profile, member directory or open comments are part of the current product.
Sharing and service providers
Information may need to pass to selected providers that host the service, deliver account email, process payment or support essential operations. The actual providers, locations, safeguards and roles must be named after they are verified. The final policy must also state whether and how any information is used for marketing, analytics or other purposes.
Questions and privacy requests
Email [email protected]. The final privacy policy must still explain which requests are available, how identity is verified and how long a response may take.
The responsible legal identity, how long each kind of information is kept, deletion exceptions, cookies and analytics, information sent across borders, privacy rights and age-verification information.
02 · Service terms proposal
Entry carries a few clear conditions.
The service is intended only for adults who may lawfully access its content where they live. Account creation or purchase would require agreement to the final published terms once those terms are complete and effective.
Accounts and admission
Account information must be accurate enough to operate access securely. Credentials are personal and should not be shared. PRIVATE DARK may use an invitation process and limited admission windows, but availability must reflect real places and confirmed purchases.
Membership
The current prices are US$9.99 monthly, US$99 annually, and US$499 for Founder Witness. Founder Witness is intended as a personal, non-transferable credential, limited to numbers 001–100 and lasting while PRIVATE DARK exists. It covers regular galleries present and future; custom commissions, physical products and future premium services are outside that credential.
Payments, renewal and cancellation
A customer dashboard and checkout route exist, but the complete commercial lifecycle and policy are still under preparation. Before these terms become effective, PRIVATE DARK must state billing timing, automatic renewal behavior, cancellation cutoff, access after cancellation, taxes, failed-payment handling, refund rules, payment descriptor and provider disclosures in language verified against the live checkout.
Safe and lawful use
Proposed restrictions include bypassing access controls, interfering with the service, using another person’s account, exposing protected file locations or using the archive unlawfully. Final terms must define any suspension and review process that PRIVATE DARK can actually operate.
Verified checkout disclosures, renewal and cancellation mechanics, refund policy, governing law, consumer and dispute route, suspension review, service availability language and legally sufficient adult-access controls by jurisdiction.
03 · Personal-use proposal
The archive is for private keeping.
Witnesses are intended to receive access to authored photographic fiction and, where offered, downloadable high-quality digital editions. The final licence and rights-holder identity have not yet been published.
Use the draft intends to allow
Private viewing and personal, non-commercial storage of download editions on the member’s own devices, subject to the final licence delivered with those files.
Use the draft intends to exclude
- Public posting, redistribution, resale, sublicensing or sharing access with another person.
- Commercial use, merchandise, advertising or presenting a work or character as the member’s creation.
- Use in datasets, model training, fine-tuning, generation services or automated extraction systems.
- Removing authorship, rights or provenance notices included with a download.
About the work
“PRIVATE DARK is an authored photographic fiction. Every character is fictional and adult. Each session is generated, directed, curated and finished under a singular photographic vision.”
Download resolution and format, offline-copy limits, provenance treatment, licence territory and duration, backups, replacement downloads, enforcement language and the exact rights-holder identity.
